Adults refer to animals or humans who have completed their developmental stage. If used in conjunction with humans, the term "adult" can have meanings that are associated with legal or social concepts. As opposed to "minor" or "non-adult", a legal-age adult is a person that has reached the age of the age of majority. They are thought to be competent, responsible and independent. You can refer to them as"major" or "major". The age of 18 is the standard legally-adulted age at which you can become an adult however, this can vary based on the country of origin and the status of the law and also psychological maturity.

The age of adulthood marks the point in human life when the person is at maturation in both physical and mental development. Adulthood, as generally understood, begins at the age of 20 or 21. The typical middle-age begins around 40 years of age, and is followed by a period of approximately 60 years. The three phases of adulthood include early adulthood (from mid-30s through late-60s) mid-adulthood between the mid-30s through late-60s, and finally adulthood, (mid-60s through end of life). As we enter the initial stages of adulthood (between 20 and 40), our bodies are at their peak of maturity even though the weight and height of our bodies may rise slightly. As we enter the first years of adulthood, we are physically at our peak. The strength of our muscles, the response timing, the ability to sense as well as cardiac function, all hit their maximum.
